Synchronization of chaos

Chaotic system is a unpredictability determinist system : Equations are well-know but without knowledge of the initial condition and in presence of noise, the output signal can not be predicted.

Synchronization aim to generate a signal wich is similar of the chaotic signal. To synchronize a chaotic signal, we use an other chaotic oscillator which is define by the same deterministic equation.
Nevertheless, if two chaotic oscillators are uncoupled, then knowing what one oscillator does tells us little about the state of the other oscillator at that moment.
